Delta is committed to the Health, Safety And Welfare of all our operatives and constantly reviews our policies to keep up to date with any changes in legislation. We are able to provide our clients with full method statements and relevant risk assessments for each project we undertake, plus staff training if required.
Delta employs the services of a Health and Safety Consultant who carries out regular internal audits and assists with training issues.
We work for clients who have a stringent Health and Safety selection process and we have managed to always meet there requirements. Our management are qualified to a higher level to maintain the supervision of Health and Safety.
We are able to provide clients with a copy of our Health, Safety and Welfare Policy and copies of our Public and Employers liability policies upon request.
Our Staff complete the following training as a minimum where applicable:
• Full company Health & Safety Induction
• Monthly Tool Box Talks
• CSCS Site Safety Tests/Cards
• First Aid at Work (Appointed Persons)
• Abrasive Wheel Courses
Staff Training
All members of Delta staff are competent in the task they undertake and are backed up by support from our Head Office. Delta believe it is important to maintain high levels of communication thought to achieve high standards of work.
Our engineers are qualified to the relevant standards required within there industry and hold all the relevant City & Guilds or National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ).Testing of Electrical & Gas Installations are only carried out by competent engineers.
Supervision plays an important roll in assessing the needs of all of our staff; we constantly re-evaluate the training needs of staff from office administration to trade operatives.
Based at Newton Aycliffe we serve Bishop Auckland, Darlington, County Durham, Sunderland, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Tyne & Wear, Northumberland, Middlesbrough and Teesside.
